Seeing the dentist early and often is essential to create lifelong good oral health habits for your children, but a child’s dental needs are different from those of an adult. That’s why it’s important to take your children to a family-friendly dental office where they can feel comfortable and learn that visiting the dentist can be fun and healthy. Our staff is highly trained and dedicated to reducing the stress often associated with dental visits so both parents and children feel comfortable coming to the dentist.
It is with great pleasure that I introduce myself. My name is Dr. Bradley Walker, and I was born and raised right here in Salt Lake City. After completing a degree from the University of Utah, my wife and I were able to move across the country to Cleveland Ohio. In Cleveland, I attended dental school at Case Western Reserve University.
After finishing dental school, we moved back to Salt Lake City where I practiced dentistry as a general dentist for four years. I enjoyed all aspects of dentistry, but soon enough I realized that spending more time with children, helping them feel comfortable, and seeing them laugh, was something I wanted to dedicate my career to.
Wanting to provide the best care I could for these little ones, I knew that I would need to pursue additional training. With the support of my wife we moved back across the country to Cleveland Ohio where I was able to participate in a residency at Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital. It was there that I completed a two year residency and received a certificate in Pediatric Dentistry. This education included advanced studies and specialized training in dentistry for children, adolescents, special needs, and medically compromised patients.
I love coming to work every day as I get to work with these special little ones. When I am not in the office I truly enjoy spending time with my wife Tracee and our five amazing children. Like all of you, most of our free time is spent making sure our children get everywhere they need to be. From soccer, baseball, skiing, tumbling, dance, piano, cello, violin and of course school, we appreciate how some days can feel. Adding a dental appointment to the list can be overwhelming. It doesn’t have to be. I look forward to meeting you soon and helping your little ones feel at ease as they come to the dentist.
